Scout dice may only be rolled during the adventurers rest step. You may roll 1 preparation die once per day, then roll X scout die and you may place the rolled scout dice into your active slots. You may take 1 true damage to re-roll the preparation die once. You do not gain rolled tenacity but may place any dice with tenacity into your active slots. Those dice can be drained on any of your turns during battle to gain that tenacity.
